A very rare plant called Burning Bush (Dictamus albus) can be found on the calcareous and plaster soil in the valley of the Nida river.
It is a representative of a uncommon in Poland Rue family (Rutaceae). This species is under strict protection. It grows on xerothermic meadow assemblies, and reaches the height of 1,2 m. Its characteristic feature is a strong cinnamon – lemon - like smell.
