Did you know, that...

The oak called "Bartek" is the most famous tree in Poland. It grows in Zagnansk in Swietokrzyskie Mountains and is said to be about 1200 years old.

The 30-metre-tall "Bartek" measures 13,5 metres round its girth near the ground and its circumference at breast height is about 40 metres. The legend states that Jan III Sobieski, who rested under this tree on his way back from Vienna, hid a Turkish sabre, a harquebus and a bottle of wine inside the oak.
